A 3-day Workshop on Specific Learning Disability (SLD) was organized from 1^st to 3^rd February at Niraivagam, Kilpauk. There were 47 participants from various institutions especially 26 first-year students from the Psychology department, Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur, special educators, parents and counsellors who actively took part in this SLD workshop.  Mrs. Anne Florence, HOD of the Child Development Centre at Niraivagam, Mr. Ashwin, Ms. Manisha and Ms. Gracy Special Educators from Niraivagam,  Mrs. Aarthi, an Educational Therapist and Head of Nandavanam Center for Learning, Dr. Sunil, Founder of Mind Zone and Clinical Psychologist,  and Mrs. Sathya from Yogithya Academy were the resource persons. Fr. Rajkumar SDB, Rector of Salesian Provincial House, Chennai, and Secretary of Don Bosco College of Arts and Sciences was the chief guest for the inaugural function. Fr. John Britto SDB, Provincial Councillor for Education and Culture presided over the Valedictory Function on the 3^rd of February and distributed the certificates to all the participants and resource persons. The participants expressed that the workshop served as a platform for knowledge exchange and professional development, equipping them with valuable insights and strategies to support young children with Specific Learning Disabilities effectively.
