On 30th June 2026, Niraivagam – conducted a workshop titled "A Psychological Perspective: Smart Parenting for the Digital Generation" for 260 parents at Don Bosco Primary School, Perambur, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

The workshop focused on helping parents understand the psychological impact of digital technology on children and equipping them with practical strategies for healthy digital parenting. The key highlights included building stronger parent-child relationships, developing healthy screen habits, improving communication and emotional bonding and creating a family digital wellness plan. The session emphasized the importance of being present, guiding rather than controlling and teaching digital wisdom to raise confident, responsible, and emotionally strong children.

The resource persons for the programme were Fr. Yacop SDB, Mr. Selva, Ms. Agnes and Mrs. Viola. The workshop was interactive, informative and well received by the participants, who appreciated the practical insights and guidance provided for navigating the challenges of parenting in the digital age.
