On 7^th & 8^th March 2024, a two-day workshop was organized by Niraivagam for the fourteen Salesian novices of Idayadeepam Novitiate, Yelagiri. The workshop was conducted on the title “Psycho-Spiritual Qualities of a Novice”. Fourteen novices took part in this workshop with enthusiasm and with full commitment. Fr. Dr. Joseph Jeyaraj SDB, Director and Fr. Ravi Aruldass SDB, Asst. Director of Niraivagam were the resource persons for the workshop. During the concluding session the novices expressed that the two-days of workshop made them to understand themselves much better and discern their vocation well as they are going to make their first profession in the Silesian congregation. They also said that they came to know more about the spiritual qualities that the novices supposed to have in the religious vocation. Special thanks to the new novice master Fr. Bellarmine Fernando SDB, and his team for their new initiatives to give holistic formation to the novices.
