From the 19th to 21 of January, a 3 day Workshop on Specific Learning Disability was conducted at Niraivagam, Cheaani. 18 participants from various institutions tool part. The following topics were handled during the workshop: Brain and Dyslexia, Identification of Multiple Intelligence, Learning Disability Assessment and Psychological Intervention, Dyslexia in the classroom, Remedial Language Training, and Brain Gym for Learning and Remedial Maths Teaching. Participants were very happy to take part in this workshop and to learn more about Dyslexia and other related disorders and various practical activities to help these children.
